Corned Beef

Cooking Instructions

  • Put 3 to 4 lbs of Tommy Moloney's corned beef in a pot and cover with water
  • Bring to boil and cook for 2 hours.
  • Cut one whole head of green cabbage into single leaves and put into pot with the corned beef
  • You can also cut up one small yellow turnip for added flavor
  • Cook until cabbage (Turnip) is soft (about 45 minutes) – for softer cabbage, add one tea spoon of baking soda when you put the cabbage into the pot.

Serve with some whole potatoes
