Corned Beef and Cabbage

Servings: 4-6
Level of difficulty: Easy
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 2 hours

Ingredients:
  • 3 to 4 lbs. Tommy Moloney’s corned beef
  • 3 medium onions – quartered
  • 1/2 small head of cabbage - cut into wedges
  • 3 carrots - cut into 3-inch pieces
Instructions:
  • Put carrots, Tommy Moloney’s corned beef, onions and cover with water in pot
  • Bring to boil and cook for 90 minutes
  • Add cabbage wedges and push down until they are moistened
  • Replace cover, and cook for 2 hours or until 158f
Tips:
  • Serve with boiled or steamed potatoes and mustard
  • The "corned" in corned beef means that it's been cured with salt. You buy it already "corned."
